| This is an introduction page for "Raise the Roof" adult popular singing group. Just to let you know a little about the group while the full site is in construction and ready to host in it's permenant home. We started in January 2006 and meet on a Wednesday evening between 7:30 and 9pm in the Pavillion in Durrington, near Salisbury, Wiltshire. By May we were proficient enough to hold an open evening which included a short performance (6 songs).
Open evening Wednesday 24 May 2006 We have since done another two short performances. The first was an outdoors gig on Sunday 27 August 2006 for the S.N.O.W.s (Special Needs Of Wiltshire) funday.

The concert is at the Durrington Village Hall and the doors open at 7pm for a 7:30 start. Tickets will be priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children (no under 3's please) and concessons. There will be a raffle with the profits going to a charity yet to be decided. For more information call us on the numbers below. The group is now growing in membership and we would love more to join. You don't have to have sung before or have a wonderful voice, just lots of enthusiasm and a love of singing. You need to be over 17 years old and under 107. (Sorry, but those 108 year olds have caused the group problems in the past. We just can't control them with their "Six Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll", and some of them have more.)
